Mistletoes Christmas artwork using kid's footprint

Mistletoes Christmas artwork using kid's footprint

Last year I wanted to make a special personalized gift to my husband from my babies (then 19 months and 1 month old). My friend sent me a photo of a project that she had made with her kids. Super cute and super quick to make!

You will need:

Instructions

First paint your wood plaque (or item you are using) if you need to. I painted mine white since it was wood. You could use paper and frame it as well. I purchased my wood plaque from Michael's.

Next decide on the placement of the footprints depending on your artwork. Paint the bottom of the baby/kid's foot with green acrylic paint, then press the foot to the wood, canvas, etc. If it is only one child, then do this with each of his feet. If not, then use one footprint for each kid.

Then with the black sharpie, write the name of child next to his footprint.

Decorate the rest with paint or paint pens. For wood plaque, I'd recommend a few layers of Mod Podge or Acrylic sealer. Perfect keepsake or a gift for grandparents, etc.
